successful sale of the majority share holding of KMA Manufacturing,
Inc. to the Marubeni Corporation of Japan has formed a new venture,
which is called KMA Manufacturing, LLC.
On April 15, 2008, KMA Manufacturing, Inc. has been reorganized as KMA Manufacturing, LLC with a significant capital infusion from Marubeni Group, resulting that Marubeni Corporation together with Marubeni America Corporation has acquired 95% membership interest in KMA Manufacturing LLC. The investment in KMA by Marubeni Corporation, one of Japanese leading trading firms with worldwide business network, has been made in the course of the firm’s strategy to expand business activity and develop more opportunity in the iron and steel industry, as well as other industries in North America. The “New KMA” has launched its operation
as a Marubeni Group company. KMA is now financially stronger
and is ready to extend more reliable and credible services
for its valuable customers.
